1989 Porsche 930 Turbo G50/50 “Matching Numbers” on a very desirable color combination of Gards Red with black leather.
In 1989 Porsche discontinued the 930 after model year 1989 when its underlying G-Series platform was being replaced by the 964. The 1989 models were the first and last versions of the 930 to feature the G50 transmission, a five-speed manual transmission and are significantly more desirable for collectors and enthusiasts alike and only 857 examples of the 930 Turbo ultimate version have been produced for the European market.
This example was first registered on April 7th 1989 in Bilbao, Spain. Two years later changed hands to a Madrid owner and has been under his care until 2015 that came to ”Centro Porsche Barcelona” for a full restauration.
Complementing the desirable Getrag G50/50 five speed gearbox only found on the 1989 production year, the expensive list of optional extras on this example include the desirable 40% limited slip differential, full electric leather sears, back seat belts and sun roof…
Offered with its Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche, full history file displays a comprehensive service history; the original stamped service booklet having been completed at regular mileage and date intervals throughout its life. Also included are plenty of further invoices and documentation together of course with all the invoices from Official Centro Porsche Barcelona.
This car has been In Centro Porsche Barcelona for full restoration since September 2015 until May 2018.
As the G body made its way out of production there is only handful of these still around and are superb drivers cars as the Porsche collecting community out there already know. As the condition of this example is exceptional ticking every box – Stunning condition, two owners (Last for 24 Years), full restauration and has been entered on the “Inter Porsche shops concour of restoration”, we think you would struggle to find a better example and potentially great investment.
